A Family Loop Through the Garden Show, Then a Neighborhood Café

A bakery café in the Seoul Forest 4-gil alley with a 32-seat third floor for families — a calm landing spot after the free 2026 Seoul International Garden Show.

A Family Loop Through the Garden Show, Then a Neighborhood Café

The garden show is free. After one loop with a small hand in yours, adult legs are pleasantly tired too. By then, the nearest alley starts to look inviting.

Free Entry, Stroller-Friendly Paths

The 2026 Seoul International Garden Show (SIGS 2026) runs at Seoul Forest from May 1 to October 27. Nine hectares, 167 gardens, gathered under the theme "Seoul, Green Culture," with the route extending into the Han River edge and into Seongsu-dong. There is no entry fee. Hours are noon to 7 p.m., which sits naturally within a weekend afternoon plan. Most of the walking paths are flat and stroller-friendly.

Six Minutes from the Show — Almost Flat

Where the garden show route ends, Seoul Forest 4-gil begins. Millab Seongsu sits inside that alley — six minutes on foot from the show's eastern exits, the same six minutes from Exit 4 of Seoul Forest Station. The walk is short and almost entirely flat.

For Families — The Third Floor with 32 Seats

The building has four floors. The first floor holds a small terrace used for seasonal pop-ups. The second floor is the main bakery café. The third floor opens up into 32 seats around wider tables — this is the floor we recommend for families. The spacing is generous; a child can draw or read in the chair next to you without getting in anyone's way. For group reservations, call the café directly.

Salt Bread Kids Will Eat, Stronger Flavors for Adults

The ovens start at five in the morning. Five varieties of salt bread come out in sequence through the morning. The plain salt bread is soft and mild — children take to it easily — while adults often lean toward the stronger ones like myeongnan (spicy Korean roe) or olive cheese. There are five financiers, two cannelés, and a Cookie Box with five distinct lévain flavors.

Drinks That Share Well

A few drinks share well with a child. The milk-based ube latte (purple sweet potato, simmered in-house) and the strawberry matcha latte both work as one cup for an adult and a few sips for a child. We also have caffeine-free options — just ask when ordering. Our du-jjon-koo, a chewy signature dessert, is the one children's hands reach for most often.

Saturday Just After Noon Is the Calmest Hour

Café hours are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., daily. After a full loop through the garden show, a stop close to lunchtime gives you one or two unhurried hours. If a child needs a quiet moment, the third-floor window seats are usually open.

Through the garden show season, the menu rotates a few items once or twice a month. Tap the notification button on our place page (Naver Map or Kakao Map, search "Millab Seongsu") to see changes before you plan your weekend. That window tends to be the quietest at our café.
