From Seoul Forest Station — KWANGYA to Our Alley

A one-hour walking route from Seoul Forest Station — through KWANGYA, into Seoul Forest park, and finally into the Seoul Forest 4-gil alley where our café sits.

From Seoul Forest Station — KWANGYA to Our Alley

Seoul Forest Station carries two names. The official one is "Seoul Forest," but the station name also lists "SMTOWN" as a subname. During the garden show season this feels especially right — you get off at the same station and, an hour of walking later, you arrive naturally at our alley.

Seoul Forest Station, a Station with Two Names

From Exit 4 of Seoul Forest Station (Suin–Bundang Line), turn right and you'll find a direct entrance to D Tower at Acro Seoul Forest. SM Entertainment's headquarters are inside the building, and KWANGYA, the official goods space, sits on basement level B1 of the same tower. A large screen near the ticket gates plays seasonal music videos, and posters for current releases line both sides of the entrance.

An Hour at KWANGYA

Inside KWANGYA, the floor is lined with OLED panels — it's an experience-driven space. Leaving an AR message or taking a sticker photo typically fills about an hour. Seasonal displays change, so a second visit rarely feels the same as the first.

A Loop Through Seoul Forest

Coming out of KWANGYA and crossing the road brings you to Seoul Forest park. One full loop takes thirty to fifty minutes. During the garden show season, 167 gardens are scattered through the area, and most visitors find themselves walking slower than usual. Deeper inside the park, smaller gardens cluster together — paths you don't usually take become worth walking.

A Short Note About the Show

The 2026 Seoul International Garden Show runs from May 1 to October 27, covering 9 hectares with 167 gardens under the theme "Seoul, Green Culture." Admission is free, and the show is open daily from noon to 7 p.m.

One Step Into the Alley

At the eastern edge of Seoul Forest, after crossing one main road, Seoul Forest 4-gil begins. From KWANGYA to our place takes about ten minutes on foot; coming through the park itself takes slightly longer. The alley is narrow and quiet — a fitting last stage for legs that have already walked for an hour.

A Place to Rest Inside the Alley

Millab Seongsu has four floors. The first holds a small terrace for seasonal pop-ups. The second is the main bakery café. The third opens into 32 seats around wide tables. The fourth floor, a rooftop, is being prepared as another popup space. After an hour of walking, we recommend the third-floor window seats.

The ovens start at five in the morning. Five varieties of salt bread (plain, myeongnan, garlic, spicy mayo sausage, olive cheese), five financiers, and a Cookie Box come out in sequence. For drinks, our house ube latte (with purple sweet potato simmered in-house) and the strawberry matcha latte are frequent first sips after the long walk. Some weeks bring limited seasonal additions.

Hours and Directions

The café opens daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Menus are available in Korean, English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese, and we accept all major cards along with Samsung Pay and Apple Pay. Search "Millab Seongsu" on Naver Map or Kakao Map for one-tap directions.
